Tyfer Networks have an immediate requirement for a Project Administrator.  The position will be supporting a Project Manager in delivering the day to day build of fibre optic networks in various locations across Ireland and the UK. This role will suit a candidate who has professional qualifications and competencies, can work on own initiative, has exceptional attention to detail, excellent organisational and communication skills. The position will initially be based in Drogheda but moving to the Dublin region by May 2019.

Main Purpose:

Completing day-to-day administration of contracts while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records as per Company requirements. Participate in the successful delivery of various contract work orders and compiling reports on behalf of Project and Contract Managers. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities and Duties

Key Duties:

  • Successful coordination and implementation of the work orders, ensuring they are delivered within the agreed timescales, in line with the Program Plan

  • Responsibility for taking information from the field engineers to develop and maintain the company’s management system

  • Provide analysis to assist with financial reporting, planning and monthly P&Ls

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships within Tyfer Networks and the client, ensuring collaborative working across teams/areas

  • Issue work orders to Project Managers/Front Line Managers, ensuring they are agreed, acted upon, traced and managed to the successful required outcomes

  • Identify, manage and report on any dependencies, milestones, critical path and potential risks/issues

  • Create, maintain and deliver high-quality project documentation

  • Ensure effective communication with staff and stakeholders ensuring this is delivered in a timely and clear fashion, with expectations clearly set and met

  • Effectively manage and document any issues/escalations raised, ensuring these are dealt with in a timely manner and to a successful conclusion

General:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent Communication, interpersonal, organisational & planning skills

  • Effective time management skills

  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable

  • Proven experience of working within a project life cycle

  • A good working knowledge of project governance and control

  • Knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure build programs

  • Proven ability to work effectively without direct supervision is essential

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
